Family time

We had been trying for weeks to have a family get together with my mom , step dad, and sister& her family. The weather was preventing everyone from wanting to travel in the snow. We ordered pizza, mom brought salad, and juli brought dessert. I made a chocolate cake... after we eat we played rockband! Which is always fun and even entertaining just to watch. Here are some pictures I took through the night.

New Beginnings

Well Its the middle of June already and this is the first day of Summer Vacation for the kids. They are playing Wii upstairs. I told em we may go for a walk in a little bit. I have been in major need of exercise. Last summer i was riding my bike almost everyday: at least 3 days a week. I was in way better health. I have been feeling my health deteriorate over the past 4 to 6 mo. Not likin it at all and the only one who can do something about it is me! So we moved into our new home bout three weeks ago now. Im a little overwhelmed. But it was to be expected. I am not working and ken's hours have been recently lessened. Not good for a fam of 5 always needing something. Bill collectors always wanting their money! I just had an interview yesterday and I'm really hoping to hear from this guy about a call back soon!! If I don't hear by Wed I will call. I received my CNA recertification paper that i've been waiting for in the mail so i need to fax it then i should be able to go take the test and recertify soon!! Well i better go get them ready for our walk. Blog again soon. I miss writing my feelings. Feels good!

So I'm sittin here with honey bbq fingers typin...im so hungry so i ordered hungry howies....yum! in smackin my lips n lickin my fingers. its soooo cool that i can just order online n it comes to my door within 40 minutes. Isn't it funny that we will avoid talkin to ppl if at all possible. I do at least. I would rather text or talk to an automated voice, rather that talk to an actual person.  I donno why.

My Life Now

FB is wonderful! I was more into myspace at first because I am an artist at heart and you can decorate a myspace. Unfortunately there is no decorating Facebook. One great thing about FB is that you eliminate all the riff raff that usually came with using myspace.

Anyway, Ken and I have been together since tenth grade. And we have three beautiful children. Breanna just turned 11 in August and is in her 6th grade year at Levey Middle school.  She is doing very well academically. She is the student of the month right now. So proud.  Kaiya (pronounced like Mya) 8 yrs. is now in third grade at Eisenhower Elementary. Doing very well also. She loves science and social studies. And Tristin Josiah or T.J. is 5 yrs old and is enjoying Kindergarten immensely. He's a 'Jock' already. He comes home talking about Basketball everyday!

I also started school when the kids did. I went back to dental. My sister Juli and I started at Everest at the beginning of this month. We are both in the Dental Assisting 9 mo. coarse. I would like to get my foot in the door at a dental office near home and continue my education to become a Dental Hygienist. And a part time teacher of Dental Assisting.  I love the elderly community! I have been a Certified Nurses Assistant for the past 10 years. I miss my lil' Grandma's and Grandpa's so much but that field will end up crippling me before i'm 50. That field is said to shave years off of your life because of how hard and strenuous it is on your body.

 Most people think this elderly couple is sooo cute.  They actually had been fighting for an hour and just got tired and had to take a quick nap before ripping each other apart again…

In my spare time I love to take pictures and "Doctor" them up. I make slide shows with music playing in the background. I cook and bake occasionally with my Mom.  Arts and crafts with the kids. Poetry. Crocheting. Scrapbooking. And so much more to mention. Anyway enough about me... would love to hear more about you and yours. Any one care to comment.
